Welcome to Japanese Language & Culture Training

Located in Sydney, Australia, JLCT provides Japanese language and intercultural (cross-cultural) communication courses for corporate training, as well as for individuals and small groups. We provide both private and group tuition and our training programs can be developed to meet the needs of individual and corporate clients.

We offer personal, one-on-one or small group (friends or family) tuition in Japanese language and culture. We tailor our tuition to suit your specific requirements. Improve your language skills for travel or study, or make the most of your next holiday. If you work with Japanese companies or have Japanese clients, you will benefit enormously from knowing the language and communication skills. Am I exchanging business cards correctly? Should I bow or shake hands? We can ensure you understand the protocols that can make or break a business deal. Face to face tuition at Castle Hill (NSW), for one to three students. Friends or couples can learn together as long as they are at the same level. Suitable for people with general interest or anyone planning a holiday in Japan! Falling behind at school? Or do you just want to excel further? Private tuition is excellent for HSC students as you can learn at your own pace. All levels (beginners – continuers - extension). We also cater for university students and JLPT applicants. Weekly tuition or casual lessons (e.g. before exams). If you work with the Japanese or have Japanese clients, you will benefit enormously from knowing the language and communication skills. Inter-cultural communication training is not uncommon in USA but it is still a new and unique service in Australia. We are one of the few who provides this kind of course and we can come to your workplace for corporate in-house training.

Virtual classes

Too far to travel to Castle Hill? You can still do it online even if you live interstate or overseas! We use Zoom or Skype and our lesson will be virtually the same as sitting in the same room! Enjoy the lessons in the comfort of your own home. Weekly tuition or casual lessons (e.g. before exams).

Tailored to your needs

We offer in-person, one-on-one or small group (family, friends or colleagues) tuition in Japanese language and culture, tailored to suit your specific requirements. In-person training can be conducted at your office (for corporate clients) or at our location in Castle Hill (the only option for students).

One-on-one training is perfect for students, individual travellers or those with a general interest in Japanese culture, while group training is better for corporate, work or travel groups.

We can also provide training online for individuals or small groups if that works better for you.

Whichever you choose, we'll discuss your requirements with you to ensure our training caters for your exact needs and prepares you for your Japanese experience.

(Please note: Children must be 16yrs or older if learning with their parents.)
